Out of Breath
In all fairness, if you saw Tinlicker at his peak - then you should only go to this show for nostalgia's sake. The opening bands were self described 'death metal' which in this case means they sounded like the fictitious band Dethklok but without the irony or tongue-in-cheek humor or musicality. After a quick trip backstage (for O2?) he came back invigorated and audible - when he decided to sing. Oh Napalm Death what have you wrought? If you have seen Tinlicker on his other tours previous - you will be a little disappointed in this show. The interesting thing was he was much more involved with the audience then I have ever seen him. Missed notes, entire bars unsung, and by song three he was inaudible and appeared like he was going to pass out. But I think he needs to hang it up. It was the last show of the tour (but it was only a 9 show tour). I love Tinlicker, give this show three stars and hope we only meet again through my ipod.
